I Love NY

 Welcome to Cortland County

Warmer temperatures and sun-filled days provide the perfect setting for unique festivals, entertaining theatre performances, live music, quaint eateries, and charming shops.

We invite you to enjoy all of the fairs and festivities that create an entertaining and fun-filled atmosphere all summer long. Experience the fine pairing of  locally-produced wineand culinary treatsat the annual Cortland Arts & Wine Festival, the allure of artisans and crafters at the annual Holiday in Homer, or the bistro-style celebration of Magic on Main. And, don’t forget the annual Route 90 Fifty Mile Garage Sales, running from Homer to Montezuma, where you will find unexpected treasures for serious and not so serious bargain-hunters.

With the arrival of summer, we hope you join us as we welcome Brockway trucks back home to Cortland, for the annual National Brockway Truck Show featuring fun-filled events spanning three days. Join in Irish festivities during the 15th annual Cortland Celtic Festival and indulge in authentic Celtic fare, while listening to the skirl of bag pipes, watching Highland athletes, and participating in all things Celtic.

For those looking for cultural experiences for the whole family, be sure to check the list of summer shows at the Cortland Repertory Theatre, which showcases professional summer theatre on the shore of beautiful Little York Lake. Music lovers should mark their calendars for the second-annual Peak Fest at Greek Peak Mountain Resort, headlining award-winning Kellie Pickler. And, don’t forget about our free concerts Friday evenings on Main St. by top bands during the “Cortland Main Street Music Series,” as well as free performances on both Wednesday (“Homer Concert Series”) and Thursday (“Summer Concert Series”) evenings throughout the summer.

Come join us and experience all of the things that make the summer months in Cortland County truly unforgettable.
